One of the first to try on my list is Warhaven, the squad-based 16 vs. During this time, over 100 titles will be available to be demoed. The event begins today at 1 Eastern and runs until June 26. To encourage a growing Warhaven community, Nexon will regularly be hosting events and tournaments to keep fans involved in the game.I love when Steam Next Fest season begins. By earning XP, players are rewarded with perks that can be used to upgrade characters with passive abilities, enhancing their resilience in combat. These additions allow new players to practice their attacks and determine which classes align with their unique play styles. In addition to Dominion and Skirmish, Warhaven also features a practice field and training modes. The Martyr, for example, is an Immortal that excels in both offense and defense, making it an excellent choice for novice players in Warhaven looking to achieve what may seem like an improbable victory. These mystical beings possess various abilities and can fulfill either offensive or supportive roles. Once the gauge reaches its maximum level, soldiers have the ability to transform into powerful Immortals, capable of turning the tide of the battle. Additionally, they possess a range of smoke-powered attacks that can deal damage to opponents.ĭuring intense battles, players will witness their gauge gradually filling up. Guardians effectively utilize their trusty shields to protect themselves while charging at the enemy, or they can anchor their shields into the ground, rendering themselves invulnerable to damage for a short period of time.įor gamers who prefer a more strategic approach, the Smoke class offers a unique playstyle centered around magical healing abilities for allies. As players progress in the game, they will gradually master the art of launching assaults and casting spells efficiently and swiftly. However, despite the fast-paced nature of the game and the constant presence of enemy armies, attacking in Warhaven is initially as simple as left-clicking the mouse and using a few keyboard commands. If you have witnessed the intense and chaotic gameplay of Warhaven, which features 16 players on each team, you might assume that its battle system and controls are overly complicated.
